Boyle River Camp 2013

I have had a great 3 days at Boyle River with the Year 10 campers. The weather was sunny and hot and the girls and teachers had a great time.

Lunch time at the lodge. Spag or cream corn and cheese baked on toast.

The lodge kitchen. We all chipped in to cater for the 61 girls who came on our half of the camp.

My bed for the nights.

Milo with the girls - young and old-ish that is - before bed time. I'm rocking the camp look, sand fly bands and shampoo accidental left at home.

Thought I'd make some scones to share for afternoon tea. We had them with jam and clotted cream. Some creature comforts just can't be forgone.

Took my knitting as usual. Only made time to do a few rows, as usual. Still a work in progress.

Breakfast Bubble and Squeak: last night's potato, pumpkin, carrots and peas, fried with butter and baked in the oven with cheese on top.

Tents drying in the sun after out camp, with beautiful views of the southern alps in the background.

Great location, great guides, great girls and good times with friends.
